Trackless Mobile Machinery Training Programmes

Xtream Safety offers accredited Trackless Mobile Machinery (TMM) training programmes designed to develop safe, competent, and legally compliant machine operators. These programmes are aligned with applicable unit standards and industry regulations for mining, construction, and industrial environments.

Important Notice:
Additional fees may apply where machinery is required to be hired for practical assessments. Learners are required to complete a minimum of 21 days of supervised machine practice prior to undergoing practical assessment to ensure competence and operational readiness.

Counter-balanced Lift Truck (Forklift) – Novice
This course trains learners to safely operate counter-balanced lift trucks, focusing on load handling, stability principles, inspections, and workplace safety to prevent accidents and damage.
Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) – Novice
Provides operators with the skills to safely operate mobile elevating work platforms, including hazard awareness, fall protection, positioning, and emergency procedures.
Suspended Elevating Work Platform – Novice
Equips learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to operate suspended platforms safely, with emphasis on working at heights, inspections, and emergency response.
Overhead Crane – Novice

Tractor Loader Backhoe (TLB) – Novice
Provides training on the safe and efficient operation of TLB machines, including excavation, loading, trenching, and daily machine inspections.
Excavator – Novice
Equips learners with skills to operate excavators safely, focusing on digging techniques, machine control, stability, and hazard management on site.
Front-end Loader – Novice
Covers safe operation of front-end loaders, including loading, stockpiling, hauling, and maintaining machine balance in operational environments.
Skid Steer Loader – Novice
Trains learners to operate skid steer loaders safely and efficiently, with emphasis on maneuverability, attachment use, and site safety awareness.
Dump Truck (Rigid Body and Articulated) – Novice

Track Dozer – Novice

Grader – Novice
Trains learners in grader operation, including levelling, shaping surfaces, blade adjustment, and maintaining safe working conditions.
Light Delivery Vehicle (LDV) – Novice
Focuses on defensive driving, vehicle inspections, load safety, and compliance when operating light delivery vehicles in industrial and mining environments.
Telescopic Boom Handler
Provides training on the safe operation of telescopic handlers, including lifting, placing loads at height, attachment use, and stability control.
Refresher Training (All Machinery)
Designed for licensed operators who require skills updates, licence renewal, or reinforcement of safe operating practices.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Allows experienced operators to obtain formal certification through assessment of existing knowledge, skills, and practical competence.
